Kaneland John Stewart Elementary

About KST

John Stewart Elementary School is part of the Kaneland Community Unit School District #302 and serves students from Elburn, Maple Park, Cortland, Virgil, and parts of Sycamore and DeKalb. Over 550 students from kindergarten through fifth grade make up the John Stewart family.

Teachers, parents, students, and community members are dedicated to promoting student growth in all areas of learning including language and communication, math and science, history, the arts, technology, and physical and social-emotional health. We provide an environment that is safe, nurturing, and responsive to the needs of each individual student.

IgKnight Early Registration

KIPLA is a stand-alone, personalized Kaneland school, currently serving students in grades 3-8, with plans to expand to include 9th and 10th graders in the 2025-26.
